I have two cherry tomatoes Gwen brought home from garden club in pots. They are looking a little sorry after a week of no rain or watering while on vacation.
I also have two amazing ugli-ripe plants that grew all by themselves from tomatos that fell on the ground last year!
Apparently, if you plant tomatoes far enough apart, you can water them just when they're getting started, and then a couple times in the summer, and they'll actually do pretty well. Jade
