Started working on a farm 10 years ago. Absolutely love being outside, hands in the soil. I follow organic, permaculture, and biodynamic principles. I try to grow everything that i can especially if it is edible. The gardens that I have worked on have been as big as a half acre and as small as a 4x12 plot. Rotation with animals, mainly chickens, have been an integral part of the garden planning.

I've been weeding out a strawberry patch and lo and behold a beautiful strawberry fell into my mouth. What was i to do but chew and enjoy. Yummy!! Onions, potatoes, beans, beets, chard, and carrots are all coming up. The wind break maize is also about an inch high. Tomatoes were put into the greenhouse along with the peppers last week. Delicious memories supply all the necessary motivation to keep on planting.

Thank you for your post. I think I'm late on putting out corn, so thank you for reminding me!
