Just moved to Berkeley Springs, WV. Everything is quite new right now [and the soil is beyond in need of care] but we hope to eventually have a forest garden, vineyard, edible herbs & flowers, perennial vegetables, as well as large annual gardens.

USDA Zone:

Soil: at the moment, very dry and full of shale rock. Some areas of clay and some of sand.

Began 350 small soil blocks last week--some of them are being incredibly cute seedlings atm, while others are on their way!

Wow, 350? Sounds like a project! I'd love to see pictures of the seedlings!

Hi Karen,

I'm Hickory currently in Pittsburgh PA but listed as northern Michigan, where I will hopefully move later.
So how did all those seedlings come out? Mine got hit by mice while growing under lights in the basement.
